Update: Due to recent significant changes in the way many cell phone carriers filter phone texts, we are no longer able to offer the same phone text alerts we have in the past. We have found that the majority of outgoing messages are not arriving to adopters. We are recommending all adopters switch to email notification or use email notification as a backup option. Moving forward, phone texts notifications will only be good for two adoption rounds after an application has been submitted. All subsequent notifications will be sent via email.
